Cozumel Hunting Lionfish Experience.

At first, the lionfish was considered a high-risk for the Cozumel reefs, although if it represents a risk to the island's marine fauna, the population has found a way to fight this invasive species of the Mexican Caribbean.
After an investigation into the toxins, it was discovered that this toxin is only in its spines and that the meat is extremely delicious, which is why several local restaurants decided to give it a good stew and present some delicious dishes that are now part of our local gastronomy.
